Against Meat by Jonathan Safran Foer

Hello all!

Reading this short article by Foer made me realize how much I should value certain foods. Most people can't afford the food that all of us can eat on a daily basis. Not only that, but to value the health benefits that certain foods provide for us. The author often complimented his grandmother for her cooking and genuine values on how to view the world. It made me think and look back at to how useful her tips were and how outdated they have been these past five to six years. The way the author sets up the separate categories for what he is talking about helps a lot when organizing his thoughts and getting his certain points of view across to the audience. Many of the advice he is given regards mainly health and nutrition, and he connects a lot to his main family life. This is a great read from the new York times that I highly recommend. It's a short story about a young boy and his life regarding health and nutrition from his grandmother.

Thanks for your time everyone!
