Corruption Case Hits San Ramon Police Department

Hello all!

http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Cop-Corruption-Case-Spills-Into-San-Ramon-PD-121288054.html

Within this article, it states that a local officer within the city of San Ramon is facing charges of alleged drug dealing and conspiracy acts. There is a video within the article of a local news women reporting said crime.

This makes me worried to know that the police force within my own hometown could possibly be corrupt. It makes me scared to trust my local police force and worried for those around me. But it also gives me hope due to the fact that he was able to be landed within custody and is receiving proper punishment for his crimes. I'm not sure as to whether or not I feel fully comfortable with the police force back home now, but all I can hope is that everything works out for the best.

Thanks for tuning in!

  1. Not all people on the police force will be doing the right thing. Corruption only happens with greed. Sometimes you claim to need or even need extra money to live a standard life. That is terrible how can you live normally if you don't have enough to survive? That start most of the crime. Otherwise it's people who are totally looking out for them selves even if it means hurting others.

  2. Its crazy to think that something like this is happening. We all want to trust those who protect us, but how can we do that if there's things like this happening.

  3. I don't think theres you should be worried or afraid. Don't let one bad officer ruin your opinion or perspective on those who protect and serve. I know theres been a lot of stuff in the news about police and there actions but i know tere a good cops out there who put on the uniforms for the right reasons. Are there going to be dirty cops? Yes. But for every bad one theres a at least one good one.
